Perinatal Telepsychiatry Clinic

The Perinatal Telepsychiatry Clinic provides one-time psychiatric assessment to Washington state patients via zoom videoconferencing, followed by treatment recommendations/consultation to their providers.

• • Healthcare providers refer perinatal (pregnant and postpartum) patients with need of psychiatric assessment. Next, our navigator contacts your patient, gathers necessary information and schedules their appointment. Then, our psychiatrist conducts the assessment appointment.

• • This virtual clinic is NOT a crisis service or substitute for an emergency room, and cannot coordinate ER visits, psychiatric hospitalization or law enforcement intervention.

• • This program utilizes a consultation model, which means that the psychiatrist provides a single appointment followed by treatment recommendations to the referring provider and collaboration with the provider, empowering them to provide whole-person care to the patient. This clinic does NOT prescribe medications.
