MAP ECHO: Perinatal Psychiatry Case Conference Series

Moms’ Access Project ECHO (MAP ECHO): Perinatal Mental Health & Substance Use Case Conference Series is a 10-session CME-accredited program providers in Washington State who want to care for their perinatal patient’s substance use and mental health.

The series is facilitated by a multidisciplinary team including UW Medicine perinatal psychiatrists, obstetrician gynecologists, maternal fetal medicine experts, advanced registered nurse practitioners, therapists and social workers. The program format is a brief didactic followed by an in-depth case presentation presented by a community provider and discussion.

The MAP ECHO program launched in 2019, with prior focuses on improving provider’s capacity to care for their patient’s perinatal mental health. These past sessions have covered topics such perinatal depression, anxiety, OCD, IPV, and many more. ​

Please register here for the 2024-2025 season of MAP ECHO. This upcoming series is for WA state clinicians who care for pregnant/postpartum patients. Monthly virtual case conference sessions are held the 1st Wednesday of the month starting September 2024 through July 2025 from 12PM-1PM Pacific.

CME Accreditation for the 2024-2025 MAP ECHO series

The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. (Each session is 1.0 credit)
