  • Clinical consultation:
    • If you have any questions about your perinatal patient who has co-occurring mental health and substance use problems, feel free to call the Perinatal Psychiatry Consultation Line at 877-725-4666 or ppcl@uw.edu, which is available non-holiday weekdays 9am-5pm
    • Psychiatric consultation available through our telepsychiatry clinic and in-person clinic in Seattle
    • For perinatal patients with a primary substance use concern, you can contact WSAM’s Yes We Can Perinatal Addictions Consultation Line at 833-937-9326.
      • This line is provided by The Washington Society of Addiction Medicine (WSAM). They answer questions about perinatal substance use, including withdrawal management, initiating and titrating medications for substance use, pain management and whole person health strategies for birthing people, newborns and families. Consults available Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm PST. They also offer a listserv for provider-to-provider peer support.

    • Parent Child Assistance Program, which is a 3-year intensive program for pregnant and parenting people in Washington State with SUD that aims to help mothers build and maintain healthy, independent lives free of substance-related problems and prevent any future children from being exposed to alcohol and drugs prenatally
    • MothertoBaby provides patient-friendly fact sheets about many substances used during pregnancy and postpartum, which are available in both English and Spanish
